How do I know whether Mylive is still available for our event?

How can I secure my reservation?
We will issue you an official invoice and 50% deposit from the total amount (non-refundable) is required upon confirmation.

Why do I need to make a reservation early?
Due to the high demand of enquiries, we require your kind co-operation to make your reservations beforehand. This is to secure your booking on your event date as the slots run out quickly especially during peak seasons.

Do you have extra charges for events on public holiday?
Not on public holiday. However, additional charges is applicable on certain dates such as 30th August (Merdeka Eve), 24th December (Christmas Eve), 31st December (New Year Eve), Chinese New Year Eve and during Chinese New Year.

How long is the performance duration?
The standard duration would be 2 sets of 45 minutes.
Nevertheless, further arrangement could be made according to your event itinerary.

How many songs will you be performing?
We measure by performance duration rather than the number of songs performing.
2 sets of 45 minutes are around 25 – 30 songs.

What kind of songs will you be performing?
Mylive Entertainment provides a wide range of music selection in English, Chinese, Malay, Cantonese or even in exotic languages. We play various music genres including Oldies, Pop, Ballad, Sentimental, Instrumental, Acoustic, Country, R&B, Blues, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Latin, Fusion and Rock.

Can I have special song request?
Yes, you may request any song that you favor but it is subjected to the band’s availability. Any requested songs should be informed two weeks prior the event.

Is the high performance sound system compulsory?
It is not compulsory. However, from our past experiences, sound system at most venues does not support live band performance. They are mostly equipped with normal P.A. system for speeches or Karaoke only. Therefore, it is best to confirm with your venue before proceeding. Otherwise, we do provide high performance sound system rental at a reasonable rate.

Do you provide emcee/hosting service?
Yes, we do provide emcee/hosting service at a reasonable rate.

When does the band arrive on the event day?
The band usually arrives 3 hours before the event starts for set up and sound check.

Do I need to provide meals for the band?
Yes. Meal should be provided by the host after the band has done with their sound check and before the event starts.

Do I need to provide transportation fees and accommodation for the band?
A minimal transportation fees is chargeable for venues outside Klang Valley. Accommodation is subject to distance from Klang Valley and event days.
